Is Lit.bio really free?

Yes, completely. The free plan includes up to 10 links, all 12 themes, 12 fonts, social icons, profile and header photos, and 7-day analytics. No credit card required, no time limit, and no ads on your page.

What is a link in bio?

A link in bio is a URL you put in your social media profile (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, Pinterest) that opens a page with all your important links. Most platforms only allow one clickable link in a bio, so a link-in-bio tool like Lit.bio makes that one link count.

How do I add my Lit.bio link to Instagram?

On Instagram, open your profile, tap Edit profile, tap the Website or Links field, paste your lit.bio/username URL, and tap Done.

How many links can I add?

Free accounts get up to 10 external links plus unlimited social icon profiles. Pro accounts get unlimited links.

How much does Pro cost?

Lit.bio Pro is $9 per month, or $49 once for lifetime access. The lifetime plan never renews.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. Share your page or your invite link (lit.bio/?ref=yourname). Each eligible friend who signs up and verifies their email earns you 30 days of Pro free, and at 5 referrals Pro is yours for life. Referrals from a shared inbox, device, or network do not count. Track it under Analytics in your dashboard.

Can I use a custom domain?

Custom domains are on the Pro roadmap and coming soon. For now, your page lives at lit.bio/yourname.

Can I change my username?

Yes, up to 2 times total, with a 30-day cooldown between changes. Your username is your URL, so choose carefully.

What analytics do I get?

Free accounts get 7-day analytics: page views, link clicks, and click-through rate per link. Pro extends that to 90 days.

Can I make my page private?

Yes. In Settings, under Privacy, you can disable search engine indexing and pause your profile.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. The Lit.bio iOS app is on the App Store. An Android app is on the roadmap.

Can businesses use Lit.bio?

Yes. Restaurants, real estate agents, contractors, notaries, salons, and other local businesses use Lit.bio as a mobile-first page for menus, booking, reviews, hours, and contact details.

Can I use Lit.bio instead of a website?

For many small businesses and creators, yes. If people find you on Instagram or TikTok, a Lit.bio page can be your front door: booking, menu, reviews, and contact in one fast page.
