HiHello Alternative: Free Card and Link in Bio, No App (2026)
October 3, 2026 · 6 min read
Free HiHello alternatives compared. HiHello's 2026 plans, where it beats lit.bio (4 free cards, Wallet, NFC, CRM) and when a free no-app card page is enough.
Quick answer: HiHello has one of the most generous free card plans around, with four cards, Wallet passes and an email signature, and its paid plans add card analytics, CRM integrations and team admin. If you need any of that, or you want to tap an NFC card, stay with HiHello. If you are one person who wants a free card that is also your link in bio, and you want nobody to install anything, lit.bio is a reasonable free HiHello alternative. It costs nothing to start, and Pro is $9 a month or $49 once.
What does HiHello cost as of October 2026?

Is HiHello's free plan enough on its own?
For many people, yes. Four cards, Wallet passes and an email signature cover most networking, and you may never need to pay. The gaps show up in two places. First, the free plan has no card analytics, so you cannot see whether anyone opens your card. Second, a HiHello card is a contact card, not a page for your audience. If you also post on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, you still need somewhere to send followers to your shop, newsletter or latest video. That second job is where a link-in-bio page that also carries your contact details can replace two tools with one, or sit alongside HiHello if you want to keep its extras.
Where HiHello is better
- Four free cards. Separate cards for your job, your side project and your personal life, all free. A lit.bio account is a single page.
- Wallet passes. HiHello adds your card to Apple and Google Wallet on the free plan. lit.bio has no Wallet pass.
- NFC tapping. You can program your own NFC card to share your HiHello card with a tap. lit.bio has no NFC support.
- Card scanning. Even the free plan scans five paper cards or badges a month. lit.bio has no scanner.
- Email signatures and video backgrounds. Included free. lit.bio offers neither.
- Scan and share analytics. Professional adds card analytics, and Business adds team analytics. lit.bio's analytics measure page views and link clicks, not card shares.
- Teams and CRM. Business connects to Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with event lead capture and admin controls. lit.bio has no team plans and no CRM.
Where lit.bio is better
- It doubles as your link in bio. Your card page also holds up to 10 links and 50+ social icons, so the same URL goes on your printed card, your Instagram bio and your email footer.
- Analytics on the free plan. lit.bio Free includes 7 days of page analytics. HiHello lists card analytics from Professional upward.
- No app for anyone. You set up the page in a browser. The person you meet scans the QR code and taps Save contact to get a vCard with your details and photo, no download needed.
- A one-time price. Pro is $49 once, against $72 every year for HiHello Professional.
- Things a card app does not try to do. Free music smart links and background music, and on Pro, tips, paid subscriptions, locked content, a booking calendar, email capture and tracking pixels.
What lit.bio cannot do
To be clear about the trade: lit.bio has no NFC, no Wallet pass, no teams, no CRM, no card scanner and no email signature. Its free plan allows 10 links (Pro is unlimited). There are no custom domains yet, though they are on the roadmap. Tips and locked content carry a flat 10% platform fee plus Stripe processing, while paid subscriptions carry no platform fee. Free pages show a small "Create your own free page" link at the bottom. lit.bio is also a newer and much smaller product than HiHello.
How to switch from HiHello to lit.bio
- Keep your contacts. Export or save the contacts you collected in HiHello before you change anything.
- Pick your main card. lit.bio gives you one page, so choose the card people use most and start there.
- Claim lit.bio/yourname and fill in the contact card: name, job title, company, phone, email, website and address.
- Add your links, such as LinkedIn, a portfolio, a booking page or a shop.
- Replace the QR code on printed cards and badges with your free lit.bio QR code. Our guide on how to make a digital business card walks through it.
- Test Save contact on a friend's iPhone and Android phone.
What you lose: your extra cards, the Wallet pass, NFC tapping, card scanning, the email signature and card analytics. If those matter, keep HiHello's free plan and add your lit.bio link to your card, so the two work together.
